How best to use Find

Our Find tooling allows you to create a list of companies using your own criteria - you can then save these lists, export them to excel to run a different analysis, or add them to your watchlists to gain news and other insights.

We have a variety of filters that you can use to narrow down your Find results:

Geography

Apply geographic filters to identify your patch - ensuring you always use the lowest level so as to not dilute your results.

Industry

Use SIC codes or Industry Sector to define your list by the key industries you work in. If using SIC codes you can either search by words (e.g. Manufacturing) or use the SIC code number if you know it (SIC codes can be found on a company Data page

Financial Data

Use financial details to further define your results - the two most popular (Net Worth and Turnover) are at the top of the list, but you can also filter by other financial data fields such as EBITDA, Total Assets, Debtor Days or even their Auditor!

Business Size and Details

Define your search by key business details such as employee size, bank name or the company type.

Ownership

Filters within this field include whether the company has any subsidiaries or parent companies, whether there are any foreign parent companies and some shareholder details.

Credit & Risk

Use Experian's Delphi Score to further narrow down your results - here you have the choice to use the Delphi Score, Credit Rating or Risk Band to identify companies who are doing well and therefore might be in a position to take on new products - or those doing poorly and may require additional support.

Mortgages & Charges

Use the filters found within this section to identify businesses with any mortgages or other charges, be they satisfied or outstanding, to help you identify the companies that matter most to you.

Lists and Other Sources

Here you can apply filters on FCA status or HMRC Imports and Exports.

Events

If you're interested in companies that have submitted accounts recently then this is the filter for you, you can also filter by any Beneficial Owner Changes within a time frame that you specify.
