Introduction
KYC services are identity verification services that use supplier data sources to match the data submitted from our customers in the request.
These services will leave a Identification Check footprint on the lenders profile of the person you are requesting information about.
KYC services will check the submitted information and use a process called Two Plus Two (2+2) to determine the result of the check which can be interpreted as Pass, Fail or Refer.
Two Plus Two Check (2+2)
Our identity check services attempt to do a Two Plus Two check.
This means that we will attempt to match the name and address from one data source and the name and date of birth from another independent data source.
For example, if we can find the name and address on the Electoral Roll and the name and date of birth on a credit lender's record, then that would constitute a Two Plus Two check. If we found the information on the Electoral Roll only, that would not constitute a Two Plus Two check as this uses only one data source.
Data Sources
Data sources are the sources from where the match has been generated against your requested data.
