Using the Dashboard to identify Sales Triggers
The Opportunities section of the Dashboard is where any updates on prospects will appear.
These events are effectively sales triggers, which indicate it's a good time to get in touch with the company:
Accounts - when a company files new accounts, and there may be favourable financial changes
Addresses - when there is a change of address at the company
Budget window - when a company enters the run up to their year end, and they may be reviewing their spend
Directorships - when there is a change to the directorships at a company and there may be a new opportunity for a relationship
Incorporation - when a company is incorporated
Number of Employees - when there is a change in the number of employees, indicating growth
SIC code - when a company makes a change to its industry definition
Trending (Wikipedia) - when a company is being viewed and searched for online more than usual, indicating a significant event
Company Blog - when a company publishes a new blog post
Note: You can filter by event type to only show the most relevant ones as shown below:
