What is an API?

An API is an Application Programming Interface, is an interface or communication protocol between different parts of a computer program intended to simplify the implementation and maintenance of software. An API may be for a web-based system, operating system, database system, computer hardware, or software library.

The DueDil API is the interface that sits on top of DueDil’s data access layer, giving third parties the ability to request data from DueDil over the internet for use in Acquisition, Expansion, Onboarding and Risk processes.
