How can I best target companies by geography in Prospector?

To narrow down your search in Prospector by geographical area ensure that you drill down to, and select, the lowest level area only. For example:

• Go to postcode.
• Narrow down by Postal area, Postal District and Postal Sector.
• Select the box only at the level you’re interested in.



A common mistake is to tick each box as you go along. This will then include every company within the areas you have selected. If you would like to just target postcodes, do not tick a region, county, or town before you reach the postcode.
