- General - a watchlist which tracks the company, with standard filters applied. You may already be doing this.
- Business Units - a breakdown of some of the key BUs within the company.
- Competitors – a selection of companies within the same sector
- Roles - the company, but with an extremely tight filter based on the roles which are of most importance to you (this is sometimes a premium service).
Large companies usually create a lot of news, and it's not always useful, particularly if you are already working closely with that company.
Artesian can help reduce the noise through topic filters. However when talking with experienced users who were following large companies, they were often supplementing their insights by following other organisations related to their customer. They sometimes referred to this as the customers 'ecosystem'.
They were tracking business units, subsidiaries, other companies in the sector, and sometimes even specific roles within these organisations.
Users can do this themselves with a bit of research, but to give you a head start Artesian have created a set of pre-packaged Watchlists which can be offered when people ask to Improve My Results on specific larger companies (see list below). We call these Super High Profile (SHP) Companies.
The Super High Profile ‘treatment’
For most of the SHP companies, four template watchlists have been created:

If you request the SHP treatment for one of these companies, we will copy the additional Watchlists to your user, so you can then edit, merge or delete them to suit your needs. Note that once they have been copied to your user, you are responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the Watchlists.
If you are tracking several SHP companies, you will probably want to manage the number of alerts you receive, or apply stricter filters. The Artesian support desk would be glad to show you how to do this.
